Kalaam was the first, alternative and fully-licensed telecommunications provider based in Bahrain and offered advanced voice, internet, data, and value added services for both small & medium business customers and large corporations across different industries. However, not many knew about the brand due to its low visibility and lack of advertising.


When Kalaam was launching UTM, a unique security feature for business internet users, they approached us to do a product launch ad but there was a catch. The challenge was that as budgets were low it had to be combined with a corporate messaging wherein the product and the company get equal weightage. Even their sell sheets were required to maintain that balance for maximum target coverage.


Gulf Marcom managed to kill two birds with one stone by putting the security feature in the headline while the visual used a multi-benefit approach when switching to Kalaam. For their second offering the client was advised to keep the focus single minded having had some exposure already. We created an effective ad with a gear box visual to convey the scalable aspect of the product.
