Client Seef Mall wanted to create a bit of a buzz around the back-to-school period just as new school sessions start.

Challenge

Seef Mall is not exactly known for shops that offer back-to-school products. To top that that’s the period when people have either come back from a vacation or spent elsewhere and are not inclined to go shopping. The challenge was to increase footfall.

Solution

We took a child-friendly theme of safari / jungle adventure, crafted the title as ‘Seefari’ and planned a special Safari Hunt game with clue cards to have children run around the mall spotting the animals to win a little give away. A special jungle themed play area was created in the West Wing for younger kids to enjoy and parents to shop while they played. The theme was a hit and the mall was abuzz once again during a lean phase.
