Ithmaar is a Bahrain based Islamic bank providing a diverse range of Sharia- compliant products and services. It strives to contribute to social development and create value through innovation and customer service. We tackled the challenge of differentiating it from competitors through incorporating cash prize based savings accounts and presenting a unique appealing prospect for savers. Following market research and analysis, Ithmaar recognized a need to reduce minimum savings for prize eligibility, which lead to relaunching savings accounts with a total of over 4000 prize offerings – the highest offered by any bank in the country. Activations were presented in Seef and City Centre Mall to create exposure, encourage sign ups, and engagement.
