The first meeting of the GCC Advertising Society was held in January 1992 in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The aim of the Society was to promote the role and benefits of advertising, raise the performance levels. and establish ethical and practical standards between its parties. It also strengthened cooperation among the advertising professionals in GCC countries by establishing educational and training programs to introduce the role of advertising in the economy and society, and cooperate with local, regional and international associations working in the Advertising field.
