SCB RAMADAN CAMPAIGN THAT REWARDED CARD HOLDERS

Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) wanted to do something unique for its credit card holders during the month of Ramadan.

The whole objective of the campaign was to increase spending amongst existing SCB credit card holders.

It’s a well-known fact that during the Holy Month, the majority of spending is often done on groceries. Keeping this in mind, the agency instigated a tie up with all Lulu Hypermarkets within the Kingdom and worked on an offer that rewarded card holders when they swiped their cards at any of the Lulu outlets.

The offer entitled one lucky winner would stand to get back their spend up to BD 100

The campaign was rolled out by disseminating an emailer to SCB’s data base, SMS campaign , along with a Digital and Social media campaign. We also got prominent locations at Lulu Hypermarkets to have a branded trolley’s to be placed supported by  danglers and POS stickers.

The outcome of the campaign was very favorable with an overall credit card spend increase of 20% as compared to the same period last year.
